Who is Melike can you tell us a bit about yourself?

Hi, I’m just a girl who loves cooking, setting tables, enjoys good wine, and taking pictures. 🙃

What’s your all time favourite city?

New York.

What does an ideal day look like?

An ideal day starts with a coffee while my kids having breakfast, discovering Istanbul with them, maybe working a bit and than after they sleep going to our favorite Rakı/Balık place with my husband.

What’s your favourite comfort food that invokes memories of childhood?The tarhana soup that my grandmother makes for breakfast.

Where was your favourite summer holiday, can you tell us a bit about it? All my summers were the same (and still) spending the whole summer at La Cote D’Azur, swimming, sunbathing and eating a lot of eclair au cafe (which is another food that invokes good childhood memories).

Looking back at 2025 what is your favourite project you worked on so far?

Best project was giving birth to my second child,lol.

What 3 things would you like to see more of in the World?

Cliché but kindness, open-mindedness, and happy people.

What is your all time favorite LAR?

Hard to choose, actually I have two favorites, the silk bandana blue and orange that I got when Laris made a charity sale for the earthquake in Kahramanmaraş and my black and white shirt. (Olympos Shirt)
