Palais des Fables draws from the tales and folklore that shaped our earliest imagination — palaces, hidden doors and distant kingdoms — reinterpreted through LAR’s distinctive illustration language.

Conceived in the year Laris is planning her own matrimony, the collection carries a reflection on romance, imagination and the quiet thresholds that mark a new chapter, whilst questioning is the story told to us about fairytales a myth. Each piece is imagined with LAR’s special touch: whimsical elements of stories she loved as a child wandering figures, mythic sea references, spirals, and symbols that feel lifted from storybooks yet entirely of the present. The drawings move lightly across fabric — playful, nostalgic and quietly surreal.
